MY TEETH IS CONGESTED
WHY ARE MY TOOTH CONGESTED?
Tooth congestion can be affected by many factors.
If, in childhood, the deciduous teeth are removed earlier due to caries or they are traumatized, the remaining teeth will no longer break out in the usual position.
THAT'S WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO PROTECT MILK TEETH AND MAINTAIN REGULAR CHILDREN'S DENTAL SCREENS!
If tooth congestion begins to appear after the age of 16, especially that of the lower and upper incisors, it is most likely due to the emerging wisdom of the teeth.
CONGESTION THERAPY
If the degree of congestion is high and the teeth are healthy, orthodontic treatment is required, which can last at least half a year, one year
in case of congestion at the age of 16, seek an oral surgery consultation. The condition and position of the wisdom teeth should be checked on a panoramic X-ray. If necessary, wisdom teeth should be removed to prevent congestion and protect the roots of the molars before wisdom teeth. Wisdom tooth extraction is worth performing when the roots of wisdom teeth are not yet fully developed.
If an adult patient has devastated, stuffed, slightly congested teeth and refuses orthodontic treatment, axial correction of the teeth can be accomplished by grinding and crowning the teeth. In many cases, root canal treatment is necessary.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE CONGESTED DENTAL IS NOT REGULATED?
A congested tooth does not distribute the chewing force on the teeth during chewing, so the tooth surface and tooth bed can be damaged in the long run
Jaw movements can be abnormal due to clogged teeth, which can lead to overload of the jaw joint, cramps in the masticatory muscles and frequent headaches.
Congested teeth are harder to clean and easier to form tartar on their surface, making them more prone to gingivitis.
