TOOTH WHITENING
WHAT IS DENTAL TOOTH WHITENING?
The advantage of dental teeth whitening is that teeth are whitened under clinically controlled conditions. During the bleaching process, we choose the most appropriate of the various techniques and methods for the patient to ensure long-term bleaching success.
The duration of the teeth whitening process is usually 1 hour, 8-15 minutes per phase, depending on the individual tooth color.
The bleaching process is preceded by a consultation and a thorough tartar removal and polishing. Sensitive and perforated teeth should be treated beforehand.
It is important to know that the color of fillings, crowns and bridges cannot be changed by bleaching.
BENEFITS OF DENTAL WHITENING
teeth regain their original white color
the natural color of yellowish teeth can be restored without filling, without shell
under controlled clinical conditions
DISADVANTAGES OF DENTAL WHITENING
teeth may be sensitive for 1 week after bleaching
for root-treated teeth, external whitening is not sufficient
existing fillings and prostheses cannot be bleached
unfortunately, it is not always possible to achieve a snow-white hue
CONTRAINDICATION TOOTH WHITENING
unsupervised deep caries
uncorrected tooth fractures
genetic diseases of tooth tissue
